This course was very informative. I can definitely use the information I learned to improve my teaching when I return to the classroom. I can even use it in teaching online classes. Very good!April B.

I just completed 90 hours of Professional Learning with the help of the Professional Learning Board. I was pleased with this on-line study and wanted to thank you for providing such a variety of lessons. I can honestly say, as I reflect back on each lesson, that I obtained valuable knowledge that has refreshed and prepared me for the classroom after being retired for several years. I plan to use my lessons and recommended resources as reference points when needing new ideas or skills.Jean C

I retired several years ago and when asked to return to the classroom, I had to scramble to get my teaching license renewed. This perfectly fit my needs and I've enjoyed taking the courses. While I have a couple left to go, I'm looking forward to learning more and completing these packages! Thank you.Nancy A.

This reflective practices course was the most difficult to focus on for an extended period of time. It is a ton of information and it seems a little drawn out. I just found it hard to keep my attention compared to other courses from PLB. However, it did do a nice job of explaining what a reflective statement is and the different types.Azure H.

As I am not working a public school, I use the Learning Board to continue hours, and better my teaching abilities. Thank you for providing courses for teachers.Tonya L.

I think this course, will help me to organize and implement improvements in my teaching. Thanks again for all of the print outs available and examples of real life situations to make this process easier.Rebecca M.

Whew! The examples of writing were particularly helpful. Forms were also helping in framing the exercise. Thanks!Claudia H.

Very informative and informational about how to mindfully be aware of what I teach, how I teach and what I can do to improve learner engagement, participation and outcome. THANKS!Laurie K.

Positive - I feel this particular course helped prepare me to write my reflective paper for my Minnesota license renewal. The information was extensive and I feel that I have learned a great deal about reflection beyond what I was taught in college and what has been expected of me thus far as an educator. Negative - This course was assigned 5 credit hours. I feel that it should be worth more than that - it was quite lengthy and in-depth. I took detailed notes to submit to my continuing ed committee as further proof of completion and also kept track of how long each lesson took for me to complete. In all, the course took me about 8.5 hours to complete. In comparison with the other two 5-credit courses I took, the time taken to complete those other two courses was much more on track with the credits given - around 5-5.5 hours per course. Just some thoughts. Thanks!Kerri K.
