Ethics in Education (1 semester credit - Ashland University)

Even with the best intentions, boundaries can become blurred, and previously clear-cut issues may appear ambiguous. This course recognizes that we all have an innate ethical sense that influences our behavior. Ethics education involves recognizing this and understanding how it shapes our conduct.
This course provides a consistent framework to guide educators through the process of determining the best ethical decisions, even when matters seem conflicting. Teachers examine tools and tips for upholding high ethical standards in school settings and explore various topics to address ethical dilemmas practically.

I consider myself a trailblazer for virtual education and course design is superior to other platforms. Content is well organized, and it contains practical information. I would give PLB the highest rating. I am taking another course in with the state of SC, and it is poorly done in comparison to courses I am taking here.Elvis A.

I knew from early in the lessons I was going to enjoy diving into this course. This course had excellent professional advice, methods of ensuring professional behavior and choices, and empowering ethical behavior and integrity including reporting even when it's not easy to do. Doing the right thing.Cindy P.

I liked how the course was direct and gave time to think about issues. Additionally, I liked how the course didn't indemnify people for making mistakes but helped them learn from them and move forward.Kevin C.

I found it beneficial to review and keep things like ethics in the forefront of my brain moving forward. Nice cobweb cleaning and things to consider.Rebecka R.
