This was an interesting topic and will benefit teachers of both native speakers and ELL students. So many teaching practices discussed in this class are applicable to enhancing learning for all students (as was mentioned in the course, "good teaching practice"). Thanks.Erin D.

I had a question regarding completion of course and the inability to print off the certificate. The tech got back to me within hours, was able to answer my questions, and did a couple beneficial rearranging of courses. As it turned out, I hadn't completed the course so I was able to complete it and go on to the next course. I don't know what I would have done with out PLB. I am thankful!!!Reeny S.

This course has given me a deeper understanding of the challenges faced by ELLs as well as strategies to help me in the future. I have very few ELLs in my school and have had very few in my experience, but I feel better equipped to help any ELLs I have in my career. I gained the understanding that my school is woefully equipped for ELLs with the understanding that we have very few.Matthew W.

This course has strengthened the knowledge I have regarding English language learners in the school environment. It also encouraged me to try different techniques and implement new strategies in and outside of the classroom. I am very glad that I chose to sign up for this course prior to September. I will have four students that are English language learners in September and I am looking forward to meeting them due to the knowledge I gained from this course. I truly enjoyed this course. I enjoyed taking it over the summer.Erin A.
