I thought the information on Gifted Education was wonderful. It is always hard to find ways to challenge gifted students in the classroom.Nancy H.
-
I thought this class gave a thoughtful look at gifted learning with good information and resources. The length was just right. It gave me enough time to look into things further, but still enough content to gain a lot of my learning there.Ingrid A.
-
Interesting topics and a good review of Bloom's taxonomy as a way to challenge gifted learners. I especially enjoyed the practical strategies, and learning more about the sensibilities and needs of gifted learners.Aldea L.
-
This was a good refresher on things I learned during my teacher certification program. A lot of the content was a good reminder, and made me reflect on my current teaching situation and how I can improve. Helpful resources, that are not too overbearing.Aldea L.

I loved being able to get professional development for licensure renewal from my home at my convenience. It was so nice to be able to complete when I had time to do so. I love how I will have access to the course I took in order to get resources as I need them.Ashley S.

The format of this online course was very easy to use.Beth H.
-
This was my first attempt at on an on-line course in a very long time. I enjoyed the lessons and activities. thank you.Nancy H.

Course was good. A little slow to start. For me, the most interesting portions of the course were the parts that were not required, like the PLSI (completing it) and the excellent article by Mark Prensky. I really liked the case study at the end; it gave me an opportunity to observe synthesis of the ideas presented. It made me think about my own students more so than the other exercises. Very convenient program. Thank you!Anika S.

I feel like it would be beneficial for every teacher to have more training in identifying these special populations and in addressing their special needs. I now feel that by taking courses like this one, we as educators could be more effective in meeting the needs of special populations.Carrie P.
-
We certainly received a wealth of information during the past few weeks. Thanks!Lori P.

The "unlimited retake" arrangement enables the evaluation process to become an extension of the learning process. I had to take the quiz a couple times in order to score 100%. However, I was more willing to take the quiz and risk incorrect answers knowing I could review & revisit my selections. I think this was a great format and I'll use it with my students as well. The advantage of using online score keeping is that the students can keep track of their progress and submit their achieved 100% scores. How liberating for both students and teachers alike! Time spent on grading tests can be devoted to curriculum differentiation development! Thanks for a great course - I really appreciate all of the resources and knowledge I can use right away preparing for my new students this fall!Beth H.
-
This course has strengthened the belief that gifted learners do need a different type of instruction than regular students and special ed students.Christine W.

This course has really helped me identify the difference between a gifted learner and a high achiever. I previously thought they were the same but I realize now there is a difference between them.Neeru P.
