ELL & ESL Instructional Strategies (15 Hours)

I very much enjoyed this course and found the information valuable. I especially enjoyed the inclusion of Spanish vocabulary practical for classroom usage, and the focus on pronunciation. The inclusion of some Spanish learning as part of this course has potential value for communicating with students, families, colleagues, and Spanish speakers out in the community and it also provides valuable perspective related to how ELLs may feel when learning English vocabulary and pronunciation. I very much appreciated the convenience of the self-paced online course. My schedule outside of work is so incredibly limited when it comes to being able to work on anything for myself so when I do have random spurts of "free" time, I so appreciate being able to work hard for days at a time without having to pause to attend an in person session.
