How do I keep and renew a teaching credential in DC?
What requirements does a teacher in D.C. need to meet for renewal?
According to the Office of the State Superintendent of Education (OSSE), educators have the option of renewing their credential by satisfactorily completing 120 hours of PD completed within the four-year term of the credential being renewed.
A minimum of the equivalent 60 hours must be directly related to the content area of the credential being renewed from PD Activity Domain Table.
